First demo album · in French
The 13 founding texts, in the language they were written in. These are the ones filed with SUISA.
Kal Records is the Kalisme record label. 13 texts by Hakan Kaynar, one for each permission in the Manifesto, sung in French and in English, and set to Afro Arabic house. 39 tracks, free to listen to in the Kalisme app.
No account, no subscription, even offline.
It all starts with a text. Hakan Kaynar writes every song from one of the 13 permissions in the Kalisme Manifesto, which is deposited with the Swiss National Library and published in 15 languages.
The text sets what stays fixed: the meaning, and a voice whose words stay clear. Then comes the genre, chosen to serve the text. The same permission holds up as a French ballad, as English pop or as Afro house, and each version opens another door onto the same idea.
“I held onto rusted keys
for doors already closed.”
The catalog follows the order of the Manifesto. Each row is a permission, each column a way of singing it. Titles stay in the language they were written in.

The 13 founding texts, in the language they were written in. These are the ones filed with SUISA.

The same permissions, rewritten in English. The imagery changes with the language.

The English texts over Afro rhythms and Arabic colors: audible proof that a permission is not tied to a genre.
Better said here than left to guesswork. The label follows the rule SUISA confirmed in writing on 2 June 2026: a human text can be declared, music born from a mere prompt cannot.
Written by Hakan Kaynar, word by word. Timestamped with a SHA-256 certificate on 19 May 2026 and filed with SUISA in his name alone, as lyricist.
Composed with a generative tool, under a commercial license. The music share is credited to “SUISA GENAI Prov”: no one receives it.
These albums are demos. The stems and MIDI files are ready: when a track goes into the studio with musicians, the music share will go to human authors, and the credit will change.
“I take less, I see clearer,
I make space for what’s alive.”
Each day, the Kalisme app brings you a permission, and its song with it. The player follows you on iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and CarPlay, Lock Screen included.
The Kalisme films come with music written for them. A lullaby, for instance, written note by note, then played on real instruments: piano, glockenspiel, vibraphone.
The Android version of Kalisme, now in development, includes the Kal Records music: it installs with the app and plays offline.
The 13 texts exist, and so do their demos, with stems and MIDI. Kal Records is looking for performers, songwriters and musicians who want to take them into the studio. One condition: the song must still ring true.
Kal Records is the musical arm of Kalisme. Every permission in the Manifesto has its book in the Kalisme Collection and its song on Kal Records. In the app, each song appears with the title of its book.
